Mission Statement: to provide resources and benefits to obtain skills for self-sufficiency from an accredited entity through higher learning and continued learning in order to promote a better life style for all Tunica-Biloxi members. Education is the great enabler. It brings growth, success, and productivity. There is no better illustration of this than our own Reservation. Fifteen years ago, it was an agricultural community where soybeans and sweet potatoes were the ticket. Our leaders had “casino vision”, knowing that it would bring a better life style for our people. So, they first educated themselves and then Tribal members on the success this venture would bring; our own Paragon. Now our Tribal members across the nation are living a better life and it all comes back to education. We encourage Tribal members of all ages to participate in the Education program. The scholarship program is open to any Tribal student attending an accredited degree/certification granting school, including university, community college, or technical training. Applications may be obtained by contacting Education Director, Lois Henry or accessing the Tribal website and downloading the document. Applications and/or questions should be directed as follows:
