Mission Statement:

The Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Gaming Commission shall administer the provisions of the Tribal Council Resolution and, the Tribal-State Compact for the Conduct of Class III Gaming and any amendments thereto, or regulations thereunder, in order to insure the public trust and confidence in the credibility and integrity of the regulatory process and of gaming operations; and to foster the economic development of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana.

  • GAMING COMMISSION:

  • COMMISSION: Regulates all gaming activities conducted on gaming lands; enforces gaming laws, regulations and ordinances; conducts hearings and meetings; manages daily administrative affairs; liaison with federal, State and local officials; promulgates regulations and policy; license employees, vendors and operations; conducts audits, investigates employees and vendors; monitors gaming operation.


  • Commissioner Chairman: The executive administrator of the Commission to ensure the effective regulation of all gaming activities on gaming lands.  Manages the Administrative division and Information Technology division.


  • Associate Commissioner of Compliance: An executive director of the Commission to ensure full compliance with all gaming regulations by monitoring the gaming operation and conducting audits.  Manages the Internal Audit division and Compliance division.


  • Associate Commissioner of Investigation: An executive director of the Commission to ensure all prospective employees and vendors of the gaming operation are investigated and licensed pursuant to federal, Tribal, and State requirements.  Manages the License division, Investigation division, and the Office of the Inspector General.


  • LICENSE DIVISION: Responsible for the Licensing of employees and vendors of the gaming operation.  Determines status of employees and vendors, i.e.: Gaming or Non-Gaming.

  • License Officer: Administrates the License office; ensures proper licensing of employees and vendors pursuant to current regulations and laws set forth by the federal, Tribal and State governments.


  • Licensing Clerk: Provides administrative support to the License Officer by processing applications.


  • INVESTIGATION DIVISION: Responsible for the conduct of all investigations authorized by the Commission i.e.: Background and Compliance.

  • Chief of Investigation: Division officer responsible for the management of the investigation division.  Carries out the policy and procedures of the Commission for the proper conduct of investigations set forth by laws and regulations


  • Gaming Agent (Investigation): Individual employed by the Commission to conduct investigations.


  • INTERNAL AUDIT DIVISION:
  • Audit Manager: Division officer responsible for the management of the audit division.  Carries out the policy and procedures for the conduct of audits prescribed by federal, State and Tribal laws and regulations.


  • Senior Auditor: Supervisory employee charged with conducting audits for the Commission.


  • Auditor: Individual employed by the Commission to assist the Senior auditor to conduct audits.


  • COMPLIANCE DIVISION:

  • Compliance Officer: Division officer responsible to the Commission to ensure full compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to gaming.  Serves as the prosecutorial agent for the Commission during hearings convened by the Commission.


  • Gaming Agent (Compliance): Individual responsible to and assists the Compliance officer in the fulfillment of the Compliance division’s responsibilities.


  • INSPECTOR GENERAL, OFFICE of:

  • Inspector General: Division officer responsible to the Commission to monitor the daily gaming operation to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations set forth by federal, State and Tribal governments.


  • Gaming Inspector: Individuals employed by the Commission to monitor the gaming operation and its specific functions to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and to additionally, report all occurrences of non-compliance to the Commission.


  • ORGANIZATION AND STRUCTURE

    GAMING COMMISSION - ORGANIZATION:

  • The Commission is composed of a three member panel (Commissioner Chairman and two (2) Associate Commissioners) appointed by the Tribal Council to regulate all classes of gaming authorized by federal statute, tribal laws and ordinances, and applicable State laws.


  • Commissioner Chairman: Presides over the Commission to conduct and administrate the affairs of the Commission’s obligations and responsibilities.  Serves as the Chief administrative officer of the Commission.


  • Associate Commissioner:  Assists the Commissioner Chairman with the implementation and maintenance of rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing the Commission.  Assists with planning, organizing and directing the functions of the Commission.  Serves as central point of contact for the Commission to provide technical assistance.
